Rhea 850 Timonier is a charming quality boat for fishing and leisure trips.

Boat Description

The boat model started production in 2005 and is still manufactured and sold in exactly the same version. The boat is designed with joy, efficiency, and safety as primary goals: High freeboard, a cozy cabin, a spacious aft deck with folding benches, a walkaround-type teak deck, and a hull designed by the boat designers Joubert and Nivelt.

In the cabin, there is a steering position, a kitchenette with stove/oven and refrigerator, and a dining table with a U-sofa. Part of the sofa can be easily turned into a sofa facing the direction of travel. The U-sofa can also be converted to a double berth.

In the forward cabin, there is a separate toilet compartment, a large double berth, a wardrobe, and storage spaces.
The boat has full teak on the floorboards and a large swim platform with swim ladder.

The boat is very well maintained and has been updated over the years. A high-quality boat from the renowned Rhea Marine in La Rochelle, France.

First owner: Carlos Suarez Charro, Luarca, Spain. 2008 – 2020.
Second and current owner: Kent Badenfors, Bohus-Malmön, Sweden. 2020 – present

The boat is fully serviced every year by Power Boat Marina in Bohus-Malmön.
Before that, the service was managed by Nordes Nautica in Ribadeo in northern Spain. Service documentation is available.
Extra measures taken in connection with annual maintenance/service.
2021: Replacement of timing belt at 1000h service and replacement of exhaust hose.
2021: Installation of gas stove.
2022: Installation of diesel heater Eberspächer.
2023: The boat’s bottom was scraped and sanded, and then painted with new epoxy paint.
2024: Due to oil drop from the propeller shaft, the gearbox was renovated at Rosenqvist in Stockholm.
The boat is winterized in a warm hall at Bohus-Malmön.
